I’m horribly out of shape, specially in the cardio department… I’ve tried running, that’s so incredibly boring, and I’m so incredibly bad at it. I go swimming a few times every week. Well, most weeks anyway. But now I’ve taken up boxing! I’m there less for the fighting but more for the really huge black dude shouting “You’ve got to be in it to win it! This is a war, keep fighting! Keep it sharp!” and other nice things to hear when you’re convulsing on the floor because all your muscles are on fire.

I guess it is a good thing to be able to defend yourself should you ever end up in a fistfight, but then again, in today’s violent society you don’t really get fistfights like in the good old days.

We’re a bunch of people from work going every week and god damn it’s a good workout, you limp out from the ring and just collapse for a good few minutes after he’s finished with you, he had such a laugh today when he was asking us if we’d dropped some money on the floor or why else were we crawling around like that? Ha. Ha. Ha. But it works, he’s pushing people to work harder and that’s what it’s all about.

I’m broken.
